The waiters are all friendly and professional, and they have extensive knowledge about the teas they serve as well as English teatime etiquette, so if you have a question about anything, do not hesitate to ask. Tea sandwiches at The Ritz are old favourites like smoked salmon, ham, chicken, and cucumber. The mature cheddar cheese sandwiches are especially good and are served on bread made with sun-dried tomatoes. The Ritz serves raisin and apple scones with Devonshire cream and strawberry preserves and an assortment of tea pastries and cakes including the famed Ritz Chocolate Cake. Afternoon tea at The Ritz can also be booked with extras, such as chocolate delights, champagne, or a birthday cake.
