Cinema in London - It's All Good at the Rich Mix Cinema
Cinema in London has a staunch defender in the Rich Mix Cinema. Although it is located in the newly trendy Bethnal Green neighbourhood, there is nothing pretentious or false about this place.

The cinema is just one part of the Rich Mix arts centre that works hard to bring a wide variety of performance arts to the community. Live music, dance, and spoken word performances are held here, as well as creative arts workshops and arts education programs for young people in the community. Once a garment factory, the 62,000 square foot building has been renovated into a sleek modern venue capable of hosting all kinds of events. The cinema is a three screen complex that shows a mix of new releases and art house films. The Rich Mix is wheelchair accessible and all of the screens have an integrated infrared system for members of the audience who may be hard of hearing. The selection of movies changes every week and the price is lower than many other local cinemas. Rich Mix Cinema offers a Seniors Special every Tuesday with discounted ticket prices and free coffee and tea available in the café. Mondays at Rich Mix are for Parents and Babies, and the theatre even thoughtfully adjusts the lighting and sound volume to make a more pleasant atmosphere for the little ones, and by extension a more pleasant experience for the parents. There is a café at Rich Mix that is open each day from 7 AM to 6 PM, offering drinks and snacks in the morning and more substantial meals at lunchtime. There is also a bar at Rich Mix that is open from 9 AM to 11 PM, serving from 2 PM onwards. The bar is a nice place to sit and visit, it has free Wireless Internet access so you can bring your laptop and spend some time surfing the web while enjoying a drink or snack. Movies in London are really fun at Rich Mix Cinema.
