Go Karting in London - Look Out Lewis Hamilton!
Go Karting in London is a fast-paced and exciting sport that puts you in the driving seat of your own mini race car. The karts are electric and can reach the speed of about 50 miles per hour, which makes them some serious fun.

Go Karting is one of those activities that turn even the mildest individuals into raging speed demons, so bringing a few mates along can make things even more fun when the competitive streaks start to show. Save your drinking until after the race, however, as anyone who has had even a drop to drink will not be allowed to get behind the wheel. Revolution Karting is a very popular venue in London near Mile End Park that offers a very fast outdoor track. The track is 650 meters long and is the only outdoor floodlit track in the area. If you bring some mates, you can race against each other in a Mini Grand Prix, or just race individually against all comers. Playscape in Streatham is one of the oldest Go Karting operations in the city, having been established in 1986. They cater to both the individual racer as well as groups, and have a special Bambino Course which is designed for 6 to 8 year old drivers. Playscape also runs a Playscape Academy to teach kids under age 18 the basics of safe kart driving as well as racing techniques. F1 City is a Go Karting venue at Docklands that offers open races; just bring your group and they supply the karts, computerised scoring, and even the trophies and bubbly. They also offer practise sessions throughout the year, seven days a week, for those looking to get a taste of Go Karting. Come by between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM and they supply the racing gear so you can take to the track and see how you like it. Go Karting in London allows you to live like a race car driver, if only for an hour or so.
