Heathrow Airport transportation is quite varied.

It is the largest airport in the UK and it is the only hub airport in the country.

Heathrow is located about 5 miles west of London, and it easy to reach from the M4 and M25 motorways.

It will take about 60 to 75 minutes to drive from Heathrow to central London.

Be advised that the Congestion Charge is in effect weekdays from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM for all cars entering central London.

There are also RailAir coaches that connect Heathrow to the national rail network, running as frequently as every 20 minutes.

Trains and the Tube offer quick transport into London from Heathrow.

The Heathrow Express runs non-stop to London’s Paddington Station every 15 minutes from about 5:00 AM to midnight, and the trip itself only takes 15 minutes.

Heathrow Connect also runs to Paddington Station but it makes stops along the way and takes about 25 minutes.

Heathrow has three stations for the London Underground to accommodate all of its terminals and all of them go to London’s Piccadilly Line.

These trains run about every 10 minutes and the journey into central London should take somewhere between 45 to 60 minutes.

The Tube is probably the most economical way to get into London from Heathrow.
