Lego Land England
- Heroes Wanted

Lego Land England opened in 1996 in Berkshire, Windsor. It was the second Lego-themed park, the first one having been built in Denmark.

Lego Land England

The park boasts a variety of attractions such as elaborate Lego models, Lego-themed rides, and Lego building workshops all housed on a beautiful 150 acres stretch of parkland. Almost 2 million visitors come to Legoland Windsor each year, making it one of the most popular theme parks in the UK.

If you have children, then you probably already know what fun Legos can be for people of all ages.

At Miniland, you will see breathtaking sculptures rendered in Lego. Iconic buildings and structures from the US and Europe are recreated in Lego here, using more than 40 million individual bricks.

The exhibits change from year to year and many have moving pieces. There is a miniature train running through Miniland that is modelled on the Docklands Light Railway.

Several London landmarks are featured in Lego form, such as a rotating London Eye, the Millennium Bridge, and St Paul’s Cathedral.

The Imagination Centre is another popular area in Legoland. It consists of rides and educational workshops.

There are Build & Test Workshops where visitors can work with Lego, Duplo, and the MINDSTORMS systems. Duplo Land is an area of the park aimed at younger children, it features rides and water play areas sure to appeal to even the youngest Lego fans.

Many of the areas in Legoland are built to reflect some of the most popular Lego series; The Land of the Vikings, The Kingdom of the Pharaohs, and The Wild Woods were constructed based on the Vikings, Johnny Thunder, and Pirates Lego series.

One of the most popular rides in the Knight’s Kingdom area is The Dragon, a roller coaster that passes by Lego-constructed scenery and its companion roller coaster, a smaller version called The Dragon’s Apprentice which is designed for young children.

Lego Land England is designed to appeal to kids of all ages or even just the young at heart.
