It is located about 40 miles from central London.

Driving by car to and from Stansted Airport via the M11 motorway is the recommended route, you will take the 8 or 8a Junction depending on which way you are heading.

Expect travel time between Stansted and central London to be about 60 to 85 minutes, and as always, weekday travel into central London means you must pay the Congestion Charge.

The Stansted Express runs every 15 minutes, the trip into London takes about 45 minutes, and the trains run from very early until very late.

The train also stops at Bishop's Stortford, Harlow Town, and Tottenham Hale.

Passengers can link up with the London Underground at the Tottenham Hale or Liverpool Street stations.
