Tiffany in London - Tiffany and Co Adorns Old Bond Street
Tiffany in London has been here since 1986 when the exclusive chain decided to open a branch on Old Bond Street in the elegant Mayfair neighbourhood. It has become an important part of the London shopping scene and it is a delightful place to wander and browse away an afternoon.

After all, as Audrey Hepburn told us in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Tiffany’s was her favourite place to go when she was afraid because of “the quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there”. If that is not a recommendation good enough to encourage a visit to this shop, I certainly do not know what could be. A doorman will greet you and open the door when you get to the shop. The interior is bright and airy, quiet but in a calm way, not at all solemn. The jewellery at Tiffany’s is exquisite. Diamonds are their specialty, and you will see them in all shapes, sizes, cuts, and colours at this shop. The lower level houses display cases of some of the most beautiful jewellery in the world, and not one of the pieces have price tags. It seems to be that if you need to ask, you probably can’t afford it anyway, but do ask if something catches your eye. The friendly but professional staff will politely answer your questions and show you whatever you like, and if they suspect that you do not have the means to buy that £6000 pair of earrings, they are kind enough not to let on. For those of us who do not have thousands to spend on jewellery, Tiffany’s does have a second floor where you will find more moderately priced items. Regardless of what you spend, a gift from Tiffany’s is special; each purchase is carefully tucked into a lovely blue box. Tiffany in London is a perfect match of traditional elegance and luxury.
